Klaus Florian Vogt

Born in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, Klaus Florian Vogt first studied horn at the academies of Hannover and Hamburg and began his musical career as 1st Horn in the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Parallel to his orchestra position, he studied voice at the Lübeck Music Conservatorium with Professor Günter Binge. After fi nishing his studies, he joined the Flensburg Opera in 1997/1998.

In 1998 Mr. Vogt changed to the Semperoper in Dresden, where he collaborated among others with conductors like Giuseppe Sinopoli and Sir Colin Davis. During this period, he expanded his repertoire substantially. Since 2003 Klaus Florian Vogt has been working as a freelance singer, guesting in Hamburg, Dresden, Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, and Cologne.
