Album information

What do we remember from these journeys? Not only the landscapes, the local cuisine and the museums we visited, but also the music from the particular country, written by the people born there and those who have chosen to stop over.

Since the twelfth century, Germany has played a determining role in the development of classical
music. Bach, Telemann, Handel, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Wagner, Strauss: these masters were to influence generations of composers. Bach redefined the bases of counterpoint while Telemannand Handel offered highspirited pages to both instrumentalists and singers. Friends in real life, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Brahms instilled a profound originality in the genres they approached; Wagner revolutionized the opera world; Strauss did the same with the symphonic poem. Here you can discover how !
