Christine Plubeau

After studying the cello, Christine Plubeau specialized in Baroque music, studying with Wicland Kuijken at the La Haye Royal Conservatory (Holland) and graduated as a soloist in 1988. She has lead a soloist and accompanist career with several ensembles such as La Grande Ecurie et La Chambre du Roy (under the direction of Jean-Claude Malgoire), Variarions, Concerto di bassi and has participated in several prestigious festivals both in France and abroad. She has recorded for the Harmonia Mundi, Auvidis, and K617 labels. Christine Plubeau is a graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.
