Félix Awards for Angèle Dubeau, Charles Richard-Hamelin and Zal Sissokho at the Premier Gala de l’ADISQ 2020!

Analekta is proud to announce that its recordings won 2 Félix Awards for Album of the year in classical music and in world music during the Premier Gala de l’ADISQ 2020 that took place yesterday, in Montreal.

The album Pulsations by Angèle Dubeau & La Pietà won in the category Album of the year — Classical / Orchestra and Large Ensemble. It is the 18th Félix Award for Album of the Year in Angèle Dubeau’s career, the most received by an artist in the history of the Félix Awards.

The album Chopin: Ballades & Impromptus by pianist Charles Richard Hamelin won in the category Album of the Year — Classical / Soloist and Small Ensemble.

The album Kora Flamenca by composer and kora player Zal Sissokho won in the category Album of the Year — World Music.
